Colgate-Palmolive has presented the “Smart Electronic Toothbrush E1”, which is equipped with real-time sensors and artificial intelligence. The toothbrush allows 
studies with Apple’s ReserchKit.
Apple’s open source research interface ResearchKit can now be used for dental hygiene for the first time. The smart toothbrush is now available in Apple stores – first in the United States, later possibly also in Europe.
With smartvisit, we are able to transfer data that is collected via HealthKit or ResearchKit to the clinics and doctors in a barrier-free manner.
