Researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge have developed a methodology for measuring and predicting personal happiness with smartwatches.
Values such as heart rate and activity are recorded. Furthermore, the user can manually enter current mood into the smartwatch. According to a study with 60 users, the mood can be predicted with 94% accuracy using a machine learning-based approach.
